The Villa Veli is located at the harbour of Zavala an old fishing village, on the island Hvar, Croatia. Through its calm and very green surroundings located directly on the beach, it has become a secret hotspot for individual, relaxed vacations — away from mass tourism.

The Villa Veli is located in the heart of Zavala, island Hvar. All rooms have a balcony with sea view and air conditioning. Within a few minutes you can walk 55 meters to the beaches and to a well stocked grocery store, for anything you might need for your day.
Next to it are three restaurants, a boat-, car- and quad-rental, a convenience store, a bakery and two lively bars right on the ocean front.
The closest bigger city is Jelsa, an easy 6km distance, which offers a harbor with more restaurants, ice cream parlors and great night life. There you will also find bigger super markets, health care and pharmacies.
Several cruises to Bol, water taxis and hydro planes are available to take you to Split or the greater surroundings. You can reach Split by car ferry from Stari Grad, which is located 15km from Zavala. Taking the ferry and car or bus takes about 3 hours to get to Split.
Hvar, the capitol of the island is approximately a 35km distance.
Idyllic location in the Mediterranean
Multiple small beaches in the immediate neighborhood offer different ways to explore and experience the beautiful ocean — including snorkeling amongst the active options, but also relaxed sun bathing. Most of the beaches are easy to walk to in minutes.
